Notice of COVID-19 Risk

“The Lord does not want the members of His Body to live and worship in isolation. He encourages us to gather together in worship and fellowship. As Hebrews 10:25-26 says, ‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.’

Although God desires us to meet together for worship and fellowship, we are currently experiencing an unprecedented health threat from the Covid-19 virus, which is spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, government leaders mandated self-quarantine or isolation of citizens to mitigate the risk of spreading this virus. This prohibition affected all public gatherings, which included church gatherings.

Despite the ongoing threat of Covid-19, our state government has granted churches permission to once again gather for worship and fellowship as long as they take reasonable actions to mitigate the potential spread of the virus among church attendees.

At Mission Bible Fellowship we have taken recommended steps to protect our worshippers from the spread of Covid-19. However, there is no assurance that these steps will prevent you from contracting the virus while at MBF. We want you to understand this risk still exists for those of us who gather together to worship.

Although MBF church leaders will be glad to have you gather with us as a church body, this remains a personal decision each person must make, prayerfully weighing the health risk. If you are not comfortable accepting the responsibility of this risk, or your current health status is compromised, making you at higher risk, we encourage you to worship through our recorded church services by sending us your email address.
